What is the best way to get targeted traffic to your site? Which method works best for you?

Traffice exchanges work for me..there a great way to get traffic to your site. Also bloggs are good, and of course forums. :)

There are iother ways also. Improve your page rank, keep trying to get them on search engines, use them as your signatures and of course the link exchanges.

I have tried just about everything to get traffic to my site and the best way I have found to do that is though social media sites.

You get traffic fast with this approach, but be careful not to spam if your going to get into this area of marketing your website. The best thing I like about this type of marketing is that its free.:)

I use Adwords to get traffic to my site.
I also purchase ads on websites that receive the audience that I target.
I haven't tried paying for blog posts but that's my next step.

I have used most of the techniques mentioned above. I think the best angle is to spread your link-building around a lot, using all the methods people have mentioned. That way, if one method is a bit of a dud, it won't do you any harm because you'll gain benefits from other avenues.

It's taken a while but I'm starting to get more and more search engine traffic using this approach.
