I've been using Adwords for my ppc campaigns. But the cost is getting too high for my campaigns. Are there other cheaper but equally effective alternatives to Adwords?

I dont' think that there is any cheaper way other than free advertising but it would't be as good as google..im finding it hard to get clicks with adwords..does it take a couple of weeks before the clicks start or does it happen sooner? just wondering I have just started my campaines a couple of days ago.

There are many alternatives to adwords. It depends on what you are doing with that traffic. If you are selling products than yahoo and MSN would be your next best bet. They are slightly less expensive than google. If you are looking for sales, you get what you pay for. Adwords is expensive but great conversions.
If you are just looking for cheap traffic and not selling a product, try goclick and searchfeed. They have $.01 min where others may be 5 or 10 cents.
If you are having problems with adwords, that could be several things. Some tell me that somtimes Google uses your ad and somtimes they dont could be true. If you have inactive keywords, that drastically reduces traffic but you will get some. Very little but some.
If someone tells you to wait weeks for the traffic to pick up, its a bold face lie. I have had many campaigns have hundreds of clicks within 4 hours of starting. It depends on many variables, most I have not figured out yet.
My question is I need more search engines that are 1 cent minimum and cost $25 or less to fund at the beginning. There are millions out there but please list your experiences here. Also adding their alexa rank would be great too!! THANKS!

I have just joined a ppc program, it was free to join but I upgraded, everytime I post my blogg on this site I get credits towards my ppc advertising, for one blogg you can get around $400 but this is not real money here..its just credited towards your ppc campaigns. I have only jsut joined this program and testing it, but it seems to be a good way of getting traffic.

So which PPC is it? Should I assume it is in your signature? Since my last post I have found more cheap PPC to use but nothing that has been free so far. Shoot me an email at my site below by going to the "contact" link at the bottom if you would please!
thanks

For starters, profitshare.i.am is a good one. It only costs ten dollars, and it offers 6000 advertising credits monthly that can be used on both banner and text ads. Another good one is Click 4 Click at the following URL: click4click.com, albeit it requires that a link be placed on your website :)

If you just started a business opportunity, it is not advisable to use ppc as your primary source of advertising.
PPC is one of the most expensive way to promote your products/services.
There are other methods of advertising.
