Hi everyone! I have done some reading on the affiliate programs and am interested in starting. However, I'm not exactly sure where to start. I don't have a website. Where do I get one for a low or free price to start? What is the next step once I do that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I support your intention to start affiliate marketing.
Actually you don't need a site to promote your affiliate product. All you need is effort and determination and hard work.

A website will just be an added advantage because most places do not allow affiliate link posting but some does. And if you have a very good sales page in your site, you will sell better.

So if you think you still want to have a website I can do it for you for free to show my support to you good intention.

I have helped many affiliates marketing beginner in giving them advices and even make a simple site for them to start with. All for free ofcourse.

So go and carry on with your good intention you are welcome to ask me if you require any assistance.

For a start just to let you know. A 15GB hosting with free domain name will only cost you about $4.95 / month. If you get those higher than that it probably is a rip off so be careful.

My advise is don't go for free hosting. There are many limitations and restrictions and almost no suppport.

All the best to your future success.

I signed up for the Rich Jerk program ... you get a free website when you buy the ebook. You have to pay for the hosting account, but the website comes with it. It's the best ebook I've bought yet.

What am I missing? I am trying to make a regular income by being an affiliate. I need to make about $800 a month to quit my job and stay home with my daughter. I have set up a blog, submitted my URL to search engine, wrote classified ads, used opt-in targeted emails, and am on google adwords and yahoo.

Nita, I checked out your earnings and I'd like to know how long you've been at this affiliate thing.

Be very careful with Adwords or you'll end up going broke instead of making money, especially if you're bidding on high cost words. You might try getting some people to critique your blog, ads, etc. to sort of test market how they are coming across and if they would buy after reading.

If you want some really good reliable affiliate programs, check out the free success guide to working at home (link found in my signature). The guide is free, so you don't have any to lose, even if you don't even end up using it. There is a support forum inside as well so if you have any questions there are tons of helpful people willing to give you answers.

y primary business is freelance graphic designer, but I also sell products as an affiliate. I review those products on my site. With the Rich Jerk's free website, ebook with exactly how he does it and the access to the forum where you can mingle with others who are very successful at it and more than willing to give their honest advice and help, it can't be beat.

You might look into some of the programs I have listed at my website! All of these will make you money and your goal of $800 should be easily attainable with The Greatest Vitamin. Best of luck and have a blessed day!

The the OP, getting started is hard work. You can't just pick an affiliate program, set up a site and leave it. You have to work hard for the money. Sometimes you work hard without any money coming in from all the work. You can't give up. One other thing. Most of the people (not saying anything about anyone here) will tell you they will help you and turn around and want you to buy something from them to learn more. That has happened to me a lot of times. It's rather annoying signing for a free e-book to learn only to find you're getting spammed by the person that gave away the free e-book. Good luck.

Easternswker, even the best affiliate marketers didn't start out making $800 a month. Don't let them tell you they did. If they do, they are not telling you the truth. It takes a little time to make money with affiliate marketing. I notice you said you had a blog. Make sure your blog is up-to-date and you are honest with the affiliate program you're trying to promote. If you're doing a review blog, try the program you're promoting. It's said when someone don't try a program and thing they can promote it. Try writing articles about what your blog is about and put a link to your blog in the resource box. That's a good way to get noticed. Good luck.

If you are looking for a way to set up an online business as auotmated as possible, just check out my site and look for Pulg-in Profits link.

I'm pretty new at it, but what I have loved about it is the program laid out a complete step by step process, that I needed idiot proof. For around $100 they set up your website and give you the seemingly the best way to earn some great money. So far I more than covered my costs, and am now watching the snowball grow.
Just like anything you need to work at it harder at first to get things moving.
Hope that helps, and best of luck to you finding your niche in life.

Good information here. I believe also when choosing a home business make sure it is multi-level in its pay structure. It also has to be affordable. Too many companies are starting to charge a Large monthly auto-ship. I saw one as high as $160 and told the guy he was crazy and no one would commit to $160 a month!

I understand it is a business and has to be treated as such but if you participated in all the programs that promise you riches the only person you'll ever make rich is the program owners. Be smart choose wisely.

There are so many affiliates and things you could do but please understand that it takes time and (most importantly) - Traffic to your site. You could also try things like Google Adsense. Good luck!

Hi, Philip here.

I don't know if you are still requesting information. But if you are still interested, consider the following:

For Newbies (beginners) . . .

I have found that when you don't know anything or very little about internet marketing/affiliate marketing, find the easiest and safest road to success. All things start with a website or store when selling products/services.

The key is finding the right website or store to handle most of the technical and workload for you. You need a fully automated and turnkey website or storefront, where everything is basically done for you. And ready to make income. But you also need to learn and grow so that you don't always have to depend fully on others. Keep that in mind

I research the internet regularly for new products and products to help the common man/woman, including myself.

So if you are still interested, my blog gives a review of websites and storefronts. This FREE information will get you headed in the right direction.

Here's success to you!

As others have allready said it is pretty easy to get your webpage up and running what you need to focus on now is who you are targeting towards and how you are going to reach them
