Hi,

I have been trying for a year to find a job to work from home but all I have found is scams.Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction. I have no money to invest in a home business and most of the typing jobs that I have found from home require mone to get their list.

Have you tried customer service or phone work? There are work from home jobs out there that do not require a fee, and are legitimate....

You should never pay for a job, and if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.. Keep your chin up and keep looking. They are out there!!

I did get lucky that when I called a place that he needed some address labels set up and he paid me on time,but I need to be able to make more then I am. Cause the pay isn't all that great.

Awesome! See, you can find legit work!

Something else to keep in mind.. When you are working from home, you really need to have your eggs in more than one basket.. So, having more than one job to do from home is a plus.

Have you applied for any phone work? Also, I sold things on Ebay when I first started working from home. Have you tried that? Can you write? There is a huge need for web content lately and writing articles is a great way to make money from home as well.

Let me know if you need more ideas.. I am full of them ;)

Philip here, I just joined this forum. I'll try to make this as simple as possible for you. You expressed that you have no money to invest. Unfortunately, it takes money to make money whether its over the Internet or not. There are plenty companies advertising free work at home opportunities which primarily relates to marketing. You can even receive free websites and products to sell and get commissions. But you have to get customers. So you must spend money for advertising.

I believe the problem with most people is they tend to think of the Internet as providing a job. The same type of jobs that you and others have some familiarity. The Internet is full of opportunities more so than legit companies hiring home workers, right now. There are not enough of these companies available to serve millions of peopls worldwide who want data entry, typing and some other jobs. So stay away from them right now. I believe this will change in the next couple of years, since the Internet is rapidly changing as more real companies are taking an interest.

The Internet is full of marketing opportunities. Since this is probably something you are not interested in, then I'll narrow this down for you. This is what you can do.

Went I first started exploring the Internet I knew nothing of course. I never got scammed because I did an aweful lot of research first. If you are able to pay $49.97, then you should get Mintjobs. This is how I got started and learned a great deal from the Internet, and actually made money.

Sorry but I have tried mintjobs and it was a big joke. I could go and research the to do surveys and the such without paying for it. On top of that it isn't hard to research how to post for free. I'm sorry if I sound a little hateful, but when I get an email from them and the say quote what did you expect unqoute. That does not sit well with me when I get treated like that. Sorry to say I will not be trying mintjobs. I don't need to pay for a list of surveys that I can research for free. But thanks for the reply though I do know that you are trying to help. :)

I agree. I can do the research for free and not pay anything at all. Just takes a little work and research. I got a part time job doing labels that is legit just by accident because I called about something else. It doesn't pay great but it is something. :)

Hi Nina. Yes, there are work at home jobs out there. I have my own business at home, paid $14.50 for it! I did see that you said you do not have any money to start your own so what I wanted to tell you about is http://www.workathomeagent.com It does not cost anything to start up. You have to do some training and it is all on the computer. After the training is done and all of that, you will be receiving phone calls and taking orders over the phone. They pay buy a certain cents per minute you are on the phone with customers. I do it in my spare time as well. I agree with everyone try to stay poisitve! I try to live by, "Thinking positive gets you Positive results!"

I tired doing surveys when I first started out, doing all the free ones. I didn't make any money off of them...I got submitions into daily draws and such but nothing ever came of that.

I'm trying a new system but it costs a bit of money...I've only been at it for a 2 weeks but I havent made any real money....yet. I'm hoping it works out becasue we need some extra income at home and I don't want to get a job! I live in a small town and everthing pays min wage. By the time I pay for daycare and gas I'd be bring home $100 a week....it's not even worth it.

Hopefully you find something that is right for you! Try not to get discouraged...I know it can be hard but keep your chin up!

Too be honest with you, as a work at home mom I tried EVERYTHING out there that was free to start working and nothing made me bring in enough money to pay the bills. sure there was some things that gave me $100 a week or so but it was just way to time consuming. then my husband heard about a energy company that gives away free trips as well as pays big when you get people to sign up. All I'm going to say is... sometimes you have to spend money to MAKE money! and now I work only one EASY job rather then 10 easy ones and make 10times more money doing so.. Yes, now a days it is very much troublesome to find out real free home based jobs. Though google adsense is scam free jobs but right now it is hard to earn money easily. If you are interested, it is required to prepare original content and start blog and prepare the site with SEO rules. Affiliate programs can be good and I have found a very good one that is free to join. I like it because you can work it off-line as well as on-line.

You could hold seminars at your local Chamber Of Commerce, at Internet Cafes, with groups of friends or with local Business Merchants in your area. It is only limited by your imagination.

This program is taught by major Colleges and Universities worldwide and you are paid a minimum of $75 up to $250 per sale. My first sale was $95!

I have been involved in a lot of different affiliate programs and I am so impressed with this business opportunity because it is so versatile and you are supplied all of the free tools like e-courses, videos, websites, banners, ads, flyers, brochures, etc.

And if you want to work off-line there are separate tools for that including a PowerPoint Presentation and Offline Action Guide all free!

Have you tried looking for data entry jobs? I found mine with bestjobs. http://www.bestjobs.ph/international.htm. If you have a hobby like crafts maybe you can sell them on Ebay. You can also check out freelancing opportunities at odesk.com. Good luck! :)

I have 3 I'm looking at, the one I'm looking at first though is My Online Income System. I know you want something that's free, this one's under $50 though, not free. I did a lot of research before signing up for anything, and I think this one's definitely worth the money because you learn a whole lot, kind of like taking a college course but easier.

After may attempts of finding some smart and serious initiative, that would not be a scam and would possibly work, I came across this new initiative the other day, it's called "my power mall" and it seems to work and be truly profitable. I joined few days ago since is completely free, no investment or registration fee is required, you choose your own online mall and start making money easily in matter of few days or even hours...There is nothing to lose after all, if i were you i'd give it a try, it's fun and a realistic way of earning money on internet, certainly more realistic and fast than surveys or other very subtle form of scams! This is a wonderful initiative, if anything, once you have joined, they offer you technical support and lots of cool marketing ideas for your own mall (The website contains training manuals, free business card templates, banners etc. )

while i hate to see hidden referral links in sites, i do have to agree with the bryon1955. internet is not a place that is providing you a job. it's is like real life, you have to find a site and get work from it. ( just like you would search for a job in a real life.)

however saying that, i would like to really clarify that just like real life jobs, with every new invention or a work, you always start new types of work and jobs.
only the ones who can adapt to the situations can survive, rest are always at the bottom of social and economic standing.
