If you started a at Home Business, what has been your investment? Were you obligated to purchasing a certain amount of product? I am trying to figure out at home strategies that may work for many people who are looking for ways to afford to start something without having to be obligated to terms, but start an at home business based on a business plan and an idea that he or she discovered.

I believe that in order to make money you must spend money (invest). I joined this business opportunity and we invested money at the beginning. We got a great travel package worth over 10 times its cost and worked the business opportunity.
The investment was worth it. We are making over $10K a month in only 5 months of doing the business.

Blessings!

Vic,

That is awesome. People tend to have more overhead, and find themselves upside down on the business they started.

Definitely. We are in business to make profit, not to spend money with not return. Thanks for your comment!

It seems that starting almost any business requires quite an investment. And one of your major costs is promoting it.

Here's a way of decreasing this cost: Make up some very cheap basic flyers advertising your business. It takes a while but if you do enough you are bound to get some leads eventually.

While you are posting these flyers, put in ads promoting a flyer delivery service. Eventually you'll get some clients who will pay you to promote their businesses, and you can put your business ads in as well.

It's kind of an offline variation of what you often see on traffic exchanges, etc.

Definitely agree with need to make investment to make money. But just don't forget internet is a strange world for us in the beginning. We are facing people who have been online for quite sometime with a lot of experience so we never know what to expect from them. So when make an investment make it wisely. I heard people who have spent more that 10000 dollars but still can make a single dime. I believe they could have been spend most of the money for seminar or buying all kind of ebooks and software. That is just a waste of investment.

hello, ebooks might work for some but for me i'm a hands on kinda guy. When i started my venture I didn't invest much in the begining. I pounded the free ad sites and alot of offline marketing. When i started making money then i started small with paid advertising. My ads began to grow along with my buisness. Dont invest more than you can afford it's been said 1000's of times but it is the truth if you wanna be around for a lengh of time. See Yah:cool:
