I am currently looking for some good sites to host my blog and/or website. Someone recommended asmallorange.com. What other recommendations do you have? Just curious.

I use Godaddy for most of my hosting. You can get just about all of the hosting for $6.99 a month. I think Bluehost is also very good, but you have to pay for a year up front, which is a little hard on the wallet for some people.

I am familiar with GoDaddy. I am using them for my domain names, but I have had some problems in the past with them. I wasn't too happy with that experience, but they were professional with me. BlueHost, I think I have heard of them, not sure. I heard of another hosting site where you get quite of bit for about $25.00 a year. I don't have that site in my favorites. It is actually on my other computer which I just received back from HP. This is a new computer, my second, and again I am having problems with it. But that is another story. Thank you for responding to my post and letting me share... :)

I have been using Bluehost for almost a year and am completely satisfied with their sevice, to my knowledge, the site has never been down, it loads fast and their customer service has been great! :)

GoDaddy is great. I've also heard good things about BlueHost, as well.

GoDaddy is great! I've also heard great things about BlueHost, but don't have any experience with it myself.

I have only used GoDaddy for creating domain names. I have never used them as a hosting service. I have had no reason to use a service to host a web site.

I owned a web site once, but I don't think I ever actually published it. I tested it out on my ISP's server just to see what I could do. I was trying to generate a web site to be used for affiliations with companies, but I gave up on the idea because I could not get my web site to the point I wanted.
