I am looking for something free and/or cheap that I can use to submit my articles to directories. Someone told me that this was not possible. Can I or can't I submit my articles to a directory and if so, how or what do I use to do this.

Thanks....

I use this one by Brad Callen

Article Submitter (http://cspinc.bryxen7.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=FORUM)

There is a free version that lets you submit to about 85 directories and a paid version that does 600+ directories.

Hope this helps.

Thanks much Jackie. I have saved it to my favorites and will take a look at it over the weekend. I appreciate very much your help. :)

I only submit my artilcles to the top PR article sites like Ezinearticles.com. I once used article submission software to submit a bunch of articles at once, but it was really just a waste of time, since Google users only care about what shows up on the first page.

Getagrip, are you a paid member with EzineArticles? I used EzineArticles and have reached my limit with the my number of articles. If I want to continue submitting articles, I will have to upgrade, which means pay money.

article submitters are available online for free, but the best ones you have to pay for - the best one I've come across is Article-post robot - pricey at about $100 but you can submit with just one click once its set up.

As the editor of an article directory I find many of the other cheap submitter cause problems like doubling the resource information boxes, etc - THIS GETS REALLY ANNOYING especially when you are approving 200 plus articles a day. Eventually if you have to keep re editing articles it just becomes easier to ban the author if they fail to follow your editorial advice.

Thank you for your information alstar70. Is that $100 a year or a month? If it is $100 a year, that isn't bad. I don't have that kind of money now, with Christmas and all upon us, but it is something I may consider.

That's just over $100 full stop - you then get the article post robot software down loaded online. After you set up the software with which directories you want to submit to, your details, etc - you do this just once, it is then just one click anytime you want to submit your articles.

That sounds like a lot of money for a one time shot that you are not sure you will benefit from. I have submitted a number of articles and it is my understanding that it takes at least 9 months to see any results.

What about the duplication of the articles you are submitting? Are the articles you are submitting the same or are they different?

I think your misunderstanding me - article-post robot is some software you download and it enables to send out your articles to hundreds of articles directories with just one click. You can use it as many times as you like for as long as you like - it simply takes the pain - and time out of article submission.

Oh sorry Alstar70. I was told to submit my articles manually. The reason is that sending out duplicate articles can hurt you.

The internet likes fresh content. So, when I send out my articles, I usually will change a word or two or even a paragraph. Fresh content in articles work the same way as having fresh content in your blog.
