Last week, my computer crashed. This is the second laptop I received from HP that has had problems. My last computer started shutting down on me after having it for only 6 months. I tried 4 times to get it fixed and no one could fix the problem. I sent it back and got this one. Again, after 6 months, it too crashed. I sent it to HP and had it fixed. Apparently the system board went out on it. How is that possible? This is a new laptop. I do backup my computers because I use my Toshiba, which is about 5 years old as a backup, but I did not save everything. I have not learned how to back up my email and my favorites. I use Mozilla, and have not been able to figure out where Mozilla places the favorites file. So, I lost my email and my favorites for Mozilla. For future, does anyone know how I can backup my email and my favorites for Mozilla? I used Microsoft Outlook for my email. I would appreciate any help. Thank you...

Lawren,

Are you still trying to find out how to save bookmarks and emails in Mozilla? I use Firefox/Thunderbird all the time, so I know a thing or two about this if you are still trying to figure out how to do it.

Yes Grady I am. My home was robbed some months ago and my laptop was stolen. I backup my computer, but I still lost my bookmarks for Mozilla because I have no idea what file my bookmarks are being saved.

Internet Explorer has a location that is easy to copy and backup, but I am still unable to find that location for Mozilla. Can you help?
