Hi everyone

If you are new to Internet Marketing and have your own website then you should really consider google analytics.

This is a valuable tool that you can use to track how your advertising campaigns are working.

It tells you where visitors have come from in terms of sites as well as geographically.

It shows you what keywords were used when searching for your site.

It tells you the bounce rate and how long a person stays on your site as well as what pages they visit. And many more.

It is a powerful marketing tool and should not be overlooked.

I have Google Analytics on a blog I run about learning computer basics, and I find all sorts of great information in terms of where people are coming from.

It will even show you a graph with three main types: Direct (user typed in the name to get there), referral (came from a link in a site), and Search Engine (the user found the page by searching). By knowing where people are coming from, you can focus your efforts to draw traffic to your site.

I am quite new to this so does anyone know if it is possible to set up Google Analytics on squidoo lens. I have one already, and intend to set up more, so tracking traffic would be useful.

I have Google Analytics and statcounter on my website for tracking. Both of them give me different number of unique visitors.

Do you have this kind of problem?

Google Analytics is a very handy tool alright and its free which is even better. I use it to track what source visitors come from all the time.

It will also integrate your adwords data from PPC campaigns.
