Yes, there are many work at home jobs like those, just make sure you initially work to learn and not for money, because if you start working for money right away, you will be working for money always.

ptc - very low money, takes a lot of time, good for housewives though, who need only like lunch money.

paid surveys - very long surveys - can make like 5-10$ a day

paid to review - good money, but you should already have good credibility to be paid well.

When looking for marketing ideas, make sure you find a company that will allow you to get great training and support on how to market online, without the training it is extremely hard to get going. I think its best to learn how to market online effectively. So you that kind of training first. There are several reputable programs around that focus on training while building your online business. I didn't find online surveys to be financially rewarding.

First you have to stop being scared and take your marketing to the street. Make and post signs where heavy traffic may view your website and promotion. That's it in a nutshell.

I started my online journey early last year (2009) and did not have a clue of where to start. Actually I was in an Network Marketing company and decided to market online for more traffic.

Do your research about the compnay, and most important - the management.
Don't be lazy. Work hard and be in touch with people.
Don't rely on emails, PPC etc.. - add the personal touch.
