Hi everybody,
My name is Stephanie I am new to this site and just looking for some insight.
I have been married for 13 years and have four children. My husband didnt allow me to work so I was a stay at home mom. Very dependent on him. My children range from 14 to 9 yrs old. He recently threw us out the house because he has made a new family and moved them into the house I made a home for us. He gives me $285.00 every two weeks and thats what we are living off of. I have been staying at a friends house. She has been very helpful unfourtunatly she lives in an effieciency and her landlord has been threatning to kick her out because to many people in the room. I tried a few work at home things but they always wanted money down. Which I tried and never got nothing but lost money that I could of used to feed my kids. I recently saw an add for work at home being a mystery shopper I tried that and they sent me a fake check. When I went to go and cash I was almost arrested. Thank God the police heard my story and let me go. So My point is how do you know what is real and what is not? Because I cant afford to get scammed again......

Hi Stephanie and welcome! I think all of us have been scammed at least once. There are no get rich quick schemes that work and just remember that if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS! You might want to try some of the work at home jobs like West At Home, Alpine Access, Working Solutions or Arise. it kinda really feels bad to see some good honest people like you get scammed,
you should, however as a first step, learn your strong points, and your weak points, for ex, like were you good in writing when you were in school, or were you good in some art or something, that will help you get some ideas in your mind.

and surely, with the amount of free time you have, i hope you will be able to find something you not only love doing, but making money as well.

Hi and welcome. Try to avoid any opportunities, jobs, etc. that try and charge you an up front fee. If it was truly a legitimate opportunity or if a position really needed to be filled, they would have no reason to charge you.

I am so sorry that you got scammed. research the concept of affiliate marketing as this is a big way people are making money on the web. I may take a small feel learning program to show you step by step what to do.

With the internet the opportunities are endless! It's a matter of FOCUS'ing on one thing. I find it difficult sometimes to focus because I have 1000 ideas running thru my head and don't know which one to start first, then start one idea and in middle of that, start on another.. without finishing the first idea. It's frustrating sometimes!

Clickbank is an excellent way to start... you can sell their products as an affiliate free of charge. Create your own account, find a product you will enjoy selling, create your sales link in your account, and go sell it online! You can do all that for free! Well, you'll have to pay for some advertising unless you're a genius at getting free traffic to your site.
