I'm just wondering if any of you out there have used email marketing before.
I want to start doing some, but I want to do it SAFELY.
I wanted to see if I could get some expert opinions first. Thanks

You have to make sure they have agreed to be emailed. It will be horrible if they forget that they signed up for newsletter, and you email them. They might claimed you spammed them.

Hi,
I have been in the home based business industry for nearly 8 years. E-mail marketing is one of my favorite and most effective ways to advertise on-line.
As I write this post I am currently sending out several thousand e-mails a day to explode the sales volume in my current business.
First of all you need to have sources to purchase high quality opt-in leads. There are many of these merchants on-line, but you have to be very cautious. Most of these companies sell garbage leads. One company I have used for almost three years is: www.ultrahotleads.com (http://www.ultrahotleads.com)
They are very reliable and the leads are also cost effective.
When buying any type of online e-mail leads make sure the person/company selling the leads to you will provide you with the ip address/date and time stamp. This piece of information proves the person requested to be contacted with additional information.
Another thing you are going to need is a way to send out the e-mail. Take a look at www.autoresponseplus.com (http://www.autoresponseplus.com )
A great program that will allow you to send out a large amount of e-mails 100% legally.
Before you start any type of e-mail marketing be sure you are very clear on the Can-Spam Act. Just go to google or yahoo.com and type in Can-Spam Act and you will be able to read up on it.
There are several simple guidelines you are required to follow. As long as you follow these guidelines you will not be spamming.
Another effective marketing method via e-mail is e-zine advertising. This will allow you to place ads in on-line newsletters that have large subscription bases. The owner of the newsletter sends out the e-mail ad so you don't have to. Do a search on google for E-zine ads or Solo Ads. There are plenty to choose from.
I hope these tips will help you out in your on-line marketing efforts. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. ;)
Best Wishes,

If I could show you a way to earn $11,000 in the next 30 days, would you watch a 4 minute on-line movie? ... Of course you would!

the success of your email marketing totally depends on who gets your mails If they consider it spam, it will lead to negative publicity.
Only go with companies that have been tried by others and have a good success rate

I have had a great deal of success with (solicited all opt-in) e-mail marketing. The product that I have been using is called the Bulk (solicited) Mailer. It permits members to send 2.3 million marketing
e-mails every 24 hours. It only costs $10 to purchase a license to use it. Here is the sign up site for anyone who is interested: http://www.psp.rulestheweb.com The one stipulation that it has is that it requires that you input two
(of your) e-mail addresses when you join. The contact e-mail address is the e-mail address that you will be sent a copy of your marketing e-mail. The list e-mail will need to be an e-mail address that is not your primary e-mail address. To absorb most of the cost of the service if the Bulk Mailer, list e-mail addresses are sent about one half dozen marketing
e-mails daily from other members.

Thank you James for your insight on this sensitive topic. The first time I tried this I was accused of spam. It did not result in punishment but it did make me gunshy. I am going to be working with a company that will auto-ship leads monthly and import them directly into my auto-responder with a Pique Interest letter that is professionally written. When they accept the invitation they will be emailed for a year about my opportunity or until they opt-out. Sounds like a good plan to me...
Continued Success!
Brad :p ;) :D

You're usually walking a fine line with email campaigns but if your recipients have agreed to receive email you could do well.
For one of my sites I use Microsofts Bcentral. NOt the best but it's okay.

I tried Email_Pays_U. Was not happy with the results. I think what happens is people sign up to read emails. They are in it just to make money, not to buy products. If you advertise in one of these sites, you'll never get anywhere. You could try ezine solo ads. I've heard they are good. I just put my first order in today to try.

Hi! We have had great success with rent-a-list.com. They are very affordable and they will even design the email for you and send it. Also you get a certain amount of guaranteed click to your website, and you only pay for the click, not for the emails they send, which makes it even more cost-efficient.
Also these people have requested to be contacted about the subject. This has drawn a lot of traffic to my website in the last couple of months.
Blessings!
